Shattered Sun is an extraordinary Setting born from my love of Dark Fantasy and Cosmic Horror. In this unique environment, an old battle of deities has splintered the sun into countless minuscule fragments resembling glass. This event has given rise to a distinct cosmic structure and a 13-day week influenced by the motion of these Fragments. Half the week sees a small number of fragments in the heavens, resulting in the Days of Dusk with only faint illumination.
Instead of a moon, the night is illuminated by Eldritch Stars and the incandescent red circle of The Fracture, a tear in the cosmos at the precise location the sun was during The Shattering.
Shattered Sun possesses a unique cosmology, divine hierarchy, and magical framework, culminating in a thoroughly unique experience.
This is a scarred world where eldritch mists blanket the lands, mutating and distorting all within while storms of shadow and ash ravage the landscape, raising armies of undead. A world bathed in the blood of Gods, yet still holding onto hope. While the Sun may be shattered, the world still clings to its fading light and perseveres.
