The Genasi are a spark, a soul, born without a body taking on an elemental form of their soul's affinity. They are on the cusp of the spirit realm. They are powerful beings, though they each have a twin. When a Genasi is born what would have been their body is also born as a Ve'nasi. They are not born as actual Siblings but as mirrors of each other, the Soul and the body, and due to this Genasi and Ve'nasi are drawn to each other. Some search out the Twin, seeing each other as Soulmates. Others wish to rid themselves of what they see as a weakness or perversion of themselves.

Genasi can only use Conduit magic due to being a living spark. However, if a Genasi were to transform into a Living Abyss and become a Shade, then they would use Abyssal Magic.
